Service Description
Study Hub is a free service offered to women (trans inclusive) and Non-Binary individuals at The Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre in Katoomba. Study Hub is a private space equipped with 2 desktop computers, a printer, Wifi, kitchenette, stationary & other educational resources. The space can be booked for 2 hour timeslots and up to 3 guests can accompany the primary user during their allocated session time. Tea, coffee & limited snacks are also available to Study Hub attendees but please feel free to bring anything extra you'd like during your session. Young children are welcome with adult accompaniment, there are plenty of children's toys available but please note that centre staff cannot provide child supervision at any time. Study Hub has been designed to help bridge any gaps that women may experience when trying to access education. We always make efforts to prioritize anyone experiencing homelessness, financial insecurity, First Nations or CALD individuals, young women & single parents.
