Service Description
We offer a free walk-in young women’s clinic for young people 25 years and under every Thursday from 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm during the school term. All women under 25 can drop into our Katoomba centre and access a GP, Women's Health Nurse and Counsellors without a pre-booked appointment. You are more than welcome to bring a support person with you to an appointment. Centre address can be found on our 'contact us' page. Please note: our friendly GP's are women's health specialists and can assist with discussions around reproductive & sexual health, mental health, gender identity, STI's, contraception & pregnancy options in addition to external service referral. If you have a more general health issue or query please check in with alternate services before accessing the drop-in. If you are new to The Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre please allow time in your visit to fill out any new client paperwork.
