About the event
Our International Women’s Day event, Femfest, honours the 2026 IWD theme Balance the Scales. Balance the Scales is a call for fair, inclusive and accessible justice for every woman and girl.
We honour this theme by centering the voices, creativity and leadership of local women. From makers and musicians to facilitators and speakers, Femfest brings together women from our own community, sharing their work, skills and voices across the day.
Femfest intentionally blends purpose with play. It celebrates self-care as an act of radical liberation, reminding us that rest and joy matter just as much as action.
Wander the makers market, sign up for a workshop, stay for a little or a lot. Bring your friends and bring your family!
