This event is open to all calling for community support to advocate and rally for the rights of women to move freely though public spaces at night and without fear of violence.

The event is organised by the BMWHRC convened mountains interagency, the Coalition Against Violence & Abuse (CAVA) with services, groups and organisations coming together with member of the public to enjoy music, banner, badge making, dancing, speeches and marching down Macquarie Street, Springwood – in solidarity to share the message of safety for women and girls in their communities.

Blue Mountains Residents are invited to take to the streets of Springwood to march and rally to demand an end to violence against women and children.

The Reclaim the Night rally and march is coordinated by the Blue Mountains Coalition Against Violence and Abuse which is convened by Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre.
