Girl's Offline - Week 5

Periods 101: What the *BLEEP* Is Going On?

Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre

Service Description

Led by Sian and Ailie, this session is all about understanding your cycle and what’s going on in your body. We’ll chat through the basics in a simple, real way, including how periods work, what’s normal, and how to manage symptoms. We’ll share helpful tools like tracking and info on different products, and there’ll be a chance to hear from our women’s health nurse, Salicia, and learn about support available through our clinic. It’s a safe space to ask questions, learn, and feel more confident about periods. Girls Offline is an in person girl-centred space for girl-identifying and non-binary teens in Years 7 through 12. Hosted during school term at The Blue Mountains Women's Health Centre, 124 Lurline Street Katoomba.
