Osteoporosis affects over 1.2 million Australians and leads to more than 173,000 fractures each year often without warning. Understanding your bone health is a powerful step toward staying active, independent and well. Delivered in partnership with Healthy Bones Australia, this informative session will explore: How healthy bones function Causes of bone loss Who is most at risk of osteoporosis Risk factors to be aware of How osteoporosis is diagnosed The key pillars of bone health Practical strategies to prevent osteoporosis This session is part of our Older, Powerful and Living Well series, shaped by local women’s voices and designed to support strength, knowledge and confidence in midlife and beyond.
