Women’s Health Week
7th–11th September 2026

Women’s Health Week runs from 7th–11th September and is a chance to put women’s health and wellbeing front and centre encouraging women and girls to make time for their health, connect with one another and have important conversations about wellbeing.
We started our celebrations a little early on Saturday with a very special First Nations Women’s Health gathering at the Centre in partnership with Gateway Family Services
More than 50 women and girls joined us for a beautiful day of connection, conversation, culture and creativity.
This year’s theme is Do It Anyway, a reminder to prioritise our health and wellbeing, even when life is busy and there always seems to be something else that needs doing.
We danced and sang, cooked and wove, created art, yarned and, most importantly, spent time together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to the wonderful women, organisations and facilitators who helped create such a warm and joyful day.
What a wonderful way to begin Women’s Health Week 2026!
